Meet Bumble the Stitchpunk Bee, he is a lot like a regular bee, he loves to fly around collecting pollen to take back to the hive, however, he is bigger than the average bee and he has tiny wings but magically he is still able to fly.
This pattern is made using DK yarn and a 4 mm hook and is written using UK crochet terminology.

To Assemble
Stuff the legs sew them to the body finishing each leg with a wooden button.
Stuff and sew the arms to the body finishing each arm with a wooden button.
Sew the antennas to the top of the head. You might find it easier to pin them in place first.
Pin the wings to the body, stitching along the edge. Attach a button to hide the stitches finishing your bee.
With some contrasting thread (I used pink) sew a little nose and mouth onto your bee.
I hope you had great fun making Bumble the Stitchpunk Bee. Try different types of yarn and hook sizes to see what you can create. I would love to see the finished bees, don’t forget to share on Twitter and Instagram using the #CrochetFolk
