Floyd is a frog from Mars. He is visiting Earth on a special mission to find out more about life on this plant, specifically what it is like to be an Earth frog.
This pattern is made using DK yarn and a 3 mm hook and is written using UK crochet terminology.
Below you will find a list of the equipment you will need and a free copy of the pattern with instructions on how to assemble your very own Floyd.

Recommended yarn: Drops Cotton Light – Shade 11 – Green
You will also need a small amount of white and blue yarn to make the eyes and some pink yarn for stitching the face.

Us the blue yarn

With the white yarn
Round 2: 2 dc, 2 tr, 2 tr, 2 tr, 2 dc, 2dc, ss into the first dc
Fasten off and leave a tail to stitch the pupil to the eye.
To Assemble
Stuff the legs and sew them to the bottom of the body. You may find it useful to use pins to hold the legs in place. Sew around the outside of the legs. Before closing the gap you might want to add some extra stuffing. Make sure your legs are firmly stuffed so your frog can stand up.
Sew the pupils to the eyes, you may want to pin the pupils to the eyes to make it easier when sewing them together. Stitch the eyes to the body. You can experiment with the position of the eyes to create your own little character.
With some contrasting thread (I used pink) sew a little nose and mouth onto your frog.
